I have a very early ES kit. The fiberglass instrument panel has lots of angles, cutouts, inserts, etc., which are not really very compatible with modern avionics. I've rebuilt the engine control cable mount to move it up and out of knee territory, but still am not satisfied with the rest of the panel. I'm looking for more of a clean, simple panel. Later ES panels seem to be flatter. Lancair does not have a newer panel. If anyone has one, please let me know. Thanks.

Jim,
I have an unused flat panel from my 1997 ES. Send me a private PM and I will send you a picture of it.

I think fibercraft might have a mold for an instrument panel
