Withdrawn: Prop for 235

Tue Nov 04, 2014 6:00 pm

Update. Considering the number of people who've reported failures of this prop, I've decided just to keep it as a decoration.

Aymar Demuth for O-235 L2C (118hp) engine, about 50 hrs flown following refinishing at factory, then replaced with a Prince P-tip. Pitch 62x70. Lived in the house since removal from the aircraft. Make an offer.

I also have an Aymar prop, how do you find the Prince prop in comparison on the O 235?

For VFR the Aymar was fine. Rain tended to erode the leading edge. I had the Prince prop re-worked from fiberglass (the way I received it) to Kevlar and it looked real purty. It too worked fine; it too would receive a bit of erosion if flown through visible moisture but not as bad as plain wood.

If there was more than a knot of difference between the two I couldn't tell.
