Jay,
I was thinking of having a spare for my Chelton, so, I would be interested in one of the - IDU1 PFD
- IDU1 MFD. But if you have someone who is interested in the entire system that would be better for you.
That said, I have a couple of questions. You list the screens as one being a PFD and the other as a MFD. It is my understanding that each screen will display all of the information that is available from the Chelton system depending what page you select. I only have a single unit but I just select what I want displayed.
1. Why do you list them as PFD and MFD?
2. What is the date of the data base?
3. What Software Version is installed?
4. Will you sell just one unit? At what price?
Regards,
Lynn Farnsworth

1. You are correct that the units are identical (except for hand-drawn identifiers on the back). I called them PFD and MFD because that's how they were configured in my aircraft. I think the only difference is in the software configuration. If you designate a unit as "MFD", then in the event of a PFD failure the MFD will switch to a PFD.
2. The databases should be up-to-date as of last October or so. I think my Jeppesen subscription is still active (trying to check now), so I might be able to get it brought up-to-date.
3. I believe the software version is 6.0B, at any rate it is the latest/greatest non-LPV version (the LPV version only works with specific GPS's).
4. I'd prefer to sell everything, but have not received any 'OBO's yet, so "All offers considered".
